When you study a Certificate III in School Based Education Support or a Certificate IV in School Based Education Support with Foundation Education, you’ll be taught the latest skills, knowledge and methodologies to make the most positive impact on school-aged children's lives.  

Foundation Education’s Education Support qualifications are delivered online via our interactive learning platform, my eCampus, which can be accessed anywhere and anytime. Our Education Support Faculty are on hand to help you with any material from your Teacher's Aide course, and our Industry Support team can also offer assistance in finding and applying for your practical work placement. 

From learning how to support general literacy and numeracy skills, to working with children with additional needs, you’ll graduate with a nationally-recognised qualification that thoroughly prepares you for a thriving career in Education Support. 

Teacher Aide Careers

Studying a School Based Education Support course qualifies you for a series of meaningful roles. When you complete the Certificate III in School Based Education Support, you’ll be qualified to work as a Teacher’s Assistant, or a Teacher’s Aide. 

If you go on to complete the Certificate IV in School Based Education Support, you’ll also be prepared for more specialised roles as an Education Assistant or a Special Needs Teacher Aide.  
With increasing population sizes and a growing need for assistance in classrooms, educational support workers are in high demand across the country.
